it's been forever.

i'm not one to worry much about whether or not my social life is adequate, but i do like to stop and feel its pulse every once in awhile just to make sure it's still breathing. i haven't checked that in quite some time, a fact that's been brought to my attention by a phenomenon called "but i thought that already happened." for example, someone informs me that anna nicole smith has died. my response: "hasn't that already happened twice now?" no, apparently it hasn't. this phenomenon has a partner, called "living under a rock". to illustrate: "when is your baby due? oh, you already had it?" whoops.

so of course if i can't pay attention to things in life, i am totally neglecting my blog.

i'm sorry, blog. i promise in the future i'll do better.
